Analyze compliance and internal process risks for all Sentara Divisions. Assist the Compliance department in risk analysis, planning, auditing and program development for compliance activities throughout Sentara. Participate in compliance and fraud investigations. Provide consultation and education for Sentara staff impacted by compliance activities. Acts as a resource for compliance, coding, charge capture and third party reimbursement regulations and rules. Qualifications Education Level Bachelor's Level Degree Experience Required: Accounting/Auditing - 5 years, Clinical - 5 years, Healthcare - 5 years Preferred: Coding - Previous experience, Healthcare Law - Previous experience, Risk Planning - 2 years License Required: None, unless noted in the \"Other\" section below Preferred: Cert Coding Specialist, Cert Professional Coder, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Outpatient Coder, Healthcare Compliance Cert, Reg Health Information Tech Skills Required: Preferred: None, unless noted in the \"Other\" section below Other Travel to Sentara's extended sites outside of Hampton Roads required. Healthcare and Clinical Experience preferred. Required to manage multiple projects simultaneously and supervise audit projects for the staff. Proficient in analyzing medical charts.
