Located within 35 Hudson Yards in the heart of the New West Side of Manhattan , HSS is developing a brand new comprehensive Outpatient Center that offers physician office visits for medical diagnosis and pre- and post-operative care; radiology services, including digital x-ray; and PT / Rehabilitation services. This location will offer patients the opportunity to access non-operative and surgical specialists, including a variety of sub-specialty programs, such as Adult Reconstructive Joint Replacement, Hand Surgery, Pain Management, Physiatry and Spine Surgery. Physicians will work collaboratively with on-site HSS-trained physical therapists to ensure treatment plans are seamless and collaborative.

Hudson Yards is and will continue to be home to a variety of corporate and residential properties with projected foot traffic of 125,000 people per day. HSS Hudson Yards is prepared to offer high-quality orthopedic and musculoskeletal services to employees, residents and visitors to this new Manhattan neighborhood and its surrounding communities.

The ideal candidate is a physical therapist with a minimum of 7+ years of out-patient clinical expertise, with an emphasis in differential diagnosis, examination and treatment of various musculoskeletal pathologies of the spine and extremities; both non-operative and post-operative. Candidates will need to demonstrate prior experience in leadership and team management within an environment that ideally involved close collaboration with a physician group. The candidate must be confident and have experience in a direct access environment. A minimum of 5.6 CEU s (56 hours or 8 days) in spine and/or manual therapy coursework or in combination with sports specific expertise from an accredited institution is a requirement. Additional certifications considered to be highly desirable, but no required, include: OCS and/or SCS (APTA), ATC (NATA), CHT, manual therapy (ex. COMT) and soft tissue (ex. ART). The candidate must possess or demonstrate the ability to obtain a New York State Licensure prior to employment

Along with clinical expertise, this position requires strong communication, team building, mentoring and leadership skills. The candidate will be a dynamic self-starter and have excellent customer service skills.
