The Innovation & Strategy Team at MINI functions as an interdisciplinary team that creates innovative projects, products and services - focused on urban hubs like New York, Shanghai and Berlin, we go from idea, concept, and strategy to implementation. Our interdisciplinary team works with outstanding external partners and technology/shared economy startups, to identify new opportunities and develop innovative concepts.
Through MINI, A/D/O has culminated a global network of creators and designers developing future-minded research and projects to impact urban life. From our 24,000 square foot interdisciplinary space in Brooklyn, we host weekly programming, large-scale installations, thoughtful research programs and are home to over 100 designers who have access to a world-class fabrication lab and tools to help impact their practice. The Innovation & Strategy division also runs URBAN-X, an accelerator for startups reimagining city life with over 40 companies in its portfolio and MINI Living, reimagined urban housing that encourages a new approach to city living; opening in Shanghai and other locations in 2020.
In 2020, the Innovation & Strategy team will be developing and creating an in-house agency whose responsibility will be to tell the stories of A/D/O, URBAN-X, MINI Living and other global initiatives through video and photo with a social and scroll-stopping focus.
The Lead Content Producer will be responsible for managing all creative and content production for A/D/O, URBAN-X, MINI Living and our in-house content studio. They will work with both an in-house team of designers, art directors and photographers as well as a network of freelance directors, editors and storytellers. They should have extensive background developing video and photo narratives, selling through ideas and pitches on either the agency or brand background, quality deck building skills and have experience managing a creative team as well as large creative budgets.
Manage all content production of digital, web, print, photo, video and other creative assets for A/D/O and our content production studio.
Manage an in-house team of designers, photographers and web developers.
Act as the primary liaison between programming and event production teams at A/D/O and Campaign Managers at MINI for the development of digital content.
Coordinate all video and photo shoots, negotiate rates, create call sheets, develop editing timelines, and organize internal file servers.
Manage the execution of web, social, print and signage for exhibitions and programs at A/D/O or global activations in partnership with MINI.
Manage an annual budget, coordinate setup of vendors, track spending and receipts for reimbursement.
Help develop narratives and stories for video and photo along with our in-house editorial team.
Minimum 5+ years as a digital producer.
Agency or editorial experience strongly preferred.
Experience in video production from pre-production to on-set management.
Excellent ability to tell stories and contribute to narrative development.
Experience working with and managing creatives.
A can-do, must-do attitude with a strong voice and opinion.
Comfortable managing complex projects with lots of stakeholders.
The Lead Content Producer is a full-time role with benefits headquartered at A/D/O in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Some travel will be required.
